call someone tell me in what kind of situation the code below return a false?

     protected virtual bool ValidateLicense(ServerLicense license, out string errorMessage) {


            errorMessage = null;


            return true;


      }

I can't immediately see any circumstances until which the body of that function would ever return false. But I'm guessing you wouldn't have asked if it wasn't doing so, correct?
