Need good and cheap VPS Hosting11/8/2007 3:34:56 AM

I have tried few companies so far: Gate.com and goDaddy. I am completely unhappy with both of them. I have copied files to the server followed the standard setup, but the wbsite is not working (file not found in first case and "You are not authorized to View this page" in the second). In particular gate.com was terrible.

 Please recommend any good VPS with ASP.NEt ready. Thanks,

I've been with UltimaHosts for over a year now. They are very .NET focused and their support is quick to respond, but they can sometimes completely miss the question -- subsequent emails are then required. Tongue Tied

I'm using their Integrated.VPS and am satisfied with it.

1) Take a look at www.fullcontrol.net - great service, good prices. You can start with cheap VPS & and you can upgrade to stronger server at any time.

2) cheap but still very good VPS 1&1 Hosting - i know what is the opinion about 1&1 i agree that shared hosting/support is bad, BUT with VPS it is different story. better support + you have good FAQ on their web site and they will send you via mail all info about basic task on your server... so maybe this will work for you

I've heard 1&1's VPS is not a bad choice for the price they offer. If you're on a budget you may want to go with them.

Actually I started using hostmysite.com and very happy so far. Support is very responsive and ASP.NEt + SQL Express 2005 was already installed on VPS...

Ultima Hosts USA have some great deals with their Integrated.VPS plans but the specials end at the end of November:

The setup uses 5 servers so your VPS isn't isolated as is normally the case.

These don't sound like issues with your host, but rather issues with how you've configured your site.  You would likely be unhappy with any host in that case.  Try posting in the general forums and see if you can solve your issue, or ask your host for help.
