making the custom scrollable datagrid3/22/2005 4:09:02 AM

i would like to create a custom scrollable datagrid. i can make the datagrid scrollable using the <div> tag but what i want is to be able to create custom datagrid whose width and height can be specified so they can be scrollable if their width and height exceeds the specified height and width. any ideas to begin with will be much appreciated.

If you set the width/height of the <div> element, and set the overflow property to auto, it should only popup scrollbars if the content within exceeds the width/height.

thanx brian. i can do that for normal datagrid. but i don't know how to set width/height of the <div> element for creating custom datagrid.

given brian's suggestion, you can add the appropriate style attributes to the <div> element you write. the <div> element can be rendered in an override on the base Render method.
