Will Whidbey make it easier to provide intellisense for custom controls?

From what I understand, you currently need to make an xml schema file and put that file in a particular place in order for VS.net to show intellisense for your custom control. There is currently little information on how to do this, but at least it can be found. I seem to remember reading posts about problems people had doing this as well. This seems like something that should be encapsulated in the control itself (like in a resource), rather than in an external file.

You will not need to generate/install an xml schema file in Whidbey. The designer will auto-gen one for you on the fly.

However, it does mean you'll need to apply the correct metadata to controls and their properties, since the autogen-logic is based on reflection and the information you provide.
