This is not supported, but I have heard from admins that have used it succesfully.

This was posted last year on MyItforum.

This version takes control of only the newly inserted device.

Warning: This has not been extensively tested.

You must create a SQL trigger using SQL query analyzier. If you do not know how to use these tools, I would not recomend using this script.

CREATE TRIGGER adsTakeControl
ON Devices
FOR INSERT
AS
UPDATE Devices SET Control = 1 FROM inserted JOIN Devices on inserted.ID = Devices.ID WHERE inserted.Control = 0
GO

any tips on how to get this trigger loaded into the MSDE that comes with ADS?
Tried Enterprose manager, even locally, it doesn't seem to want to connect :(
