hi

i v started learning ASP.NET 2.0 since  2 months and every thing is good

now I want to learn about Web Parts

but I don't even know what it means ...

just explain to me simply what it means ... then I can  go to MSDN and read about the components

A web part is a component that a user can move around the web page and perhaps modify how the information is presented. It is a technology that started with SharePoint and has been made available as a more general component under ASP.NET.
 

could give me an example pls ... like sample website , but a simple one pls .. and thanks for ur help
