Hey, Guys. I am replacing the web part personalization built-in connection string setting by setting LocalSqlServer in web.config. Is there any way I can encrypt the string or read the string from registry? Thanks.

I have not tried this but it looks like you can use aspnet_regiis.exe to encrypt the connection strings in the web.config using the aspnet_regiis -pe command line option.
