Missing Verbs on TitleBar for WebParts12/1/2006 3:49:13 PM

All my standard verbs are missing on my webpart's TitleBar when viewed on browser, i.e. no close, no minimize, no Edit, no Connect.  My WebPartRenderMode is set to TitleBar and my ClientScripting is Enabled.  Please advise what might be causing this.

I found out what the problem was.  It was an authentication issue.  After addressing the authentication, the title bar close, minimize, etc. displayed on browser.

Hello,

I have the same problem that you had.  When the site is based on the file system, I don't have any problem, and the verbs do show up on the Web Parts.  However, when I use IIS, the verbs do not show up.  I would like to know how you resolve your issue.  That will give me an idea on how to fix my problem.

 Thank you,

Sam

Hi sam,

-  Go to IIS and UNCHECK "Anonymous access" for your application

- add this to the application's web.config

<identity impersonate="true" />

Hello Mariec,

I have made the changes that you suggested, but I am still having problems.  I am convinced that it is a security issue, but I can't quite get a handle on it.  By the way, when you created your website, what did you specify for the location?  File System?  or HTTP?

Thank you,

Sam

When you use File System, you are automatically using the built-in ASP development server.  I was not having a problem at all with missing verbs when I was using File System.  But after publishing, I started using IIS, this is when i encountered this issue.
