This is for an application where users can have their own homepages with webparts. The users can set privacy for each of their webparts differently for friends and anonymous users. I was wondering if I could have a dropdown with customized roles and have it in a PropertyGridEditorPart, so the privacy level can be set on each webpart by the admin of the page. Then I would check this setting when the webparts are authorized and show/hide the webparts based on the role of the user viewing the page. I am not sure if this is possible to do.
