Hi,
I am in the process of gathering requirements for an intranet project, where the Administrators want to be able to drag and drop web parts in order to customize the pages. These pages will then be standard for the entire Intranet. There is no personalisation at the user level. The reason I am posting this question is I am unsure which path to take for this one. It is company standard to implement a SharePoint solution (2003 at present, as 2007 wont be implemented for another 6 months +) but I am trying to convince them otherwise. I have developed ASP.NET apps for a number of years now, and have avoided SharePoint to date for obvious reasons.
My questions are:
1) Using a SharePoint solution, can an Administrator custom design a web page, via a web front end, which is then viewed globally acrossed the intranet?
2) Using a .NET 2.0 solution, can an Administrator custom design a web page, via a web front end, which is then viewed globally acrossed the intranet?
Is there a good sample out there for doing either of these? Remember I want the pages to be globally customized via the Administrator as the users have no login.
Thanks heaps in advance.
