Adding Web Part Externally6/6/2006 4:38:16 PM

I've been trying to use the tool from:

http://www.teuntostring.net/blog/2006/04/reading-and-modifying-configuration-of.html

to add a new web part externally.  Modifying and deleting web parts works great, but I've been having a lot of trouble adding a new one.

Has anyone have any luck with this?

The problem with the WebPartsAdmin demo is that it needs to be run as a web page.

My goal is to have an external program, say console app, that allows you to update the web part settings, including adding and deleting web parts.

Did you ever find a way to do this?  I also need to be able to add a web part to the catalog externally.
