Hi all,

    In vs 2005, whenever we add any kind of file, it adds some default content to them. Suppose i add a class in C# Class library project called Default.cs then it will automatically add some coding of the class file like class name and constructor and some comments related to them.

I want to ask if anybody tell, is there any way to Change them or can we add some code so that it may be useful for some of my reusable code patterns? currently i'm using the snippets for that.

We can use Visual Studio Item Templates for this request.

Create a CS file in your project and change the content you like. Then select File | Export Templates menu. You can export the CS file as a template. It will appear in My Templates section of Add New Item dialog.
