Hello Everyone and thanks for your help in advance.  I have recently upgraded to VS 2005 from VS 2003 and installed the Web Application Plug-in.  In reading the documentation, the Web Application Project is supposed to be similar to the way VS 2003 would generate a dll in the bin folder, thus allowing you to copy th dll to the production server along with the aspx pages required.  However, I ma turly stuggling with getting projects to upgrade and have the same deployment routine.  Basically, when upgrading a project, i first make sure a virtual directory is set up in IIS with allo fo the appropriate files copied into it.  I then open the project with VS and run through the conversion process.  So far, so good.  However, when I build the project, the dll for the project does not always see to reflect the newest changes. Thinking I must select "publish the web site", I try to specify an http;//localhost location corresponding to the virtual directory, but VS tells me I must select another location.  I then take the default location of PrecompiledWeb within the project, however this appears to create numerous dll's with default names such as app_code.  Am i doing something wrong, or are you simply unble to do things like in VS 2003.  Any guidance on how to handle this issue would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

One thing you might want to do, unrelated to your issue, is install VS2k5 SP1, rather than the WAP plugin.
