i developed a web site but cannot browse in the internet explorer

it only run using VS 2005 when i press ctrl+F5 and it appear like this  http://localhost:4757/test.htm

i tried a solution i had seen here in the forum but i got that new problem

that is the picture to show exactly what happened

Dear Friend,

If you want to browse your page/project you must have to make its virtual directory on IIS.

I hope you know it. Go in to the control panel > administrative tools > then in IIS make the virtual directory and choose a physical path where your project is existed. Hope this is what you want as per my understanding about your problem. 

don't forget to "MARK AS ANSWER" if answer is desired.

hi,

as amol said, create virtual directory on iis.

load your web site from File->open->WebSite. a dilog box will open named "open web site".

now select your web site from Local IIS, as it will show all virtual directories created on IIS web server.

Rebuild and Run your Web Site.

it will run on your default browser with http://localhost/virtualdirectory.
