Master page in different directory - not found7/26/2006 1:10:25 PM

I have a converted from 1.x site with a main project and sub projects. I added a master page to the main project and set the page directive in the content page. At run time it works, but the designer can't find the master (same with user controls in main project). This is very annoying because I can't see the master's content as I design. Is there a way around this?
