What are differences between VS2008 Standard and VS2008 Express?12/8/2007 1:20:03 AM

Trying to determine whether VS2008 Express will fit my needs. I use VB/ASP.Net to create my own web applications. I presume that there are some major features not avaliable in VS2008 Express, but I could be wrong. Does it synch with SQL Server? Can anybody tell me what the differences are?

Let me start off by stating that I haven't yet downloaded the 2008 Express versions.  I have however experienced the wonderful Express Edition offerings previously offered.  The one major difference I noticed was that the Express Editions are offered as separate applications ... therefore, you are limited to developing website projects with Visual Web Developer Express.  If you are developing a large application (solution) made up of many smaller projects, Visual Studio 2008 Standard Edition would be the best fit for you.
