Hi, ive got a small problem and any help would be greatly appreciated.

 Im trying to make a page where data from a table is displayed and then can be edited from that. Ive got my table which I made in Microsoft Access 2007 with an SQL data source and a grid view.  This can  display the contents of the table fine. However when I use the edit tool in the grid view after I click update it goes back to how it was. The delete command works. Ive tried this with all sorts of combinations. Ive done it in Visual Studio 2005, Visual Studio 2008, using access 2000, 2003 and 2007 databases and even tried it on several computers, im fairly sure its not a bug.

trust me i got the right data source. using an access 2007 database the access data source will not detect it, however the sql one will. using the sql one i can read the database and display its data in a gridview, ive also just discovered  i can edit data in some of my tables but not others using tyhe gridview.
