Hello,

I just downloaded a template and placed the zip file in C:\Users\Bob\Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual Web Developer.

 It doesn't doesn't appear in the New Web Site dialog under My Templates. How can I get it to appear there?

Extract the .vsi from the zip file then double-click and follow the instructions.

Thanks for the reply, however the .zip file doesn't contain a .vsi. Any idea how to proceed in that case?

Try running vwdexpress.exe /installvstemplates from command line.
