error in the visual web developer 2008 express..

hello everyone..

i recently downloaded the vwd 2008 express offine download from the microsoft website.

the whole 894 mb file is downloaded as zip file..

but as soon as i unzip the file and try to run the setup.hta file in it.

it shows the following error.

"internet explorer script error. "

"an error has occured in the script in this page!"

any idea how to make this file run?

or is it the link itself has error,or may be the original file itself has a error ?

any clue?

You have to treat the file as a binary image of a DVD.

You can Google and download this tool: "Virtual CDRom control panel" (it's an unsupported tool from Microsoft).

It will allow you to create a "fake" drive, mount the binary image, and then install.
