Hi,

I've just installed VWD2005 and wanted to edit XSLT file. VWD2005 Feature Tour says that it supports IntelliSense for XSLT but when I edit XSLT file it only offers me to enter comment (<!--), directive (<?) and CDATA tag ()<![CDATA). Do I have to enable XSLT IntelliSense anywhere to have IntelliSense suggest xslt tags too ?

I thought it would be enabled automatically.

I believe there is a bug in the documentation as a lot of content is shared between VWD and VS. I don't think VWD supports XSLT editing. It does come with a basic XML editor which can edit config files as well as your own XML files provided you have a schema, but VWD does not come with schemas for XSLT intellisense.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/products/compare/default.aspx says "Basic XSLT support", I need to check internally what does it exactly means...

Hi Mikhail,

I've seen this screen-shot in VWD EE feature tour (http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/vwd/features/xml/default.aspx) which shows XSLT IntelliSense. It could be bug though.

Is there XSLT IntelliSense in Visual Studio 2005 StdEd / ProEd ?
