I cannot figure out how to add controls to the asp tables in design view.
I create the table from the toolbox then add my rows cells etc and try to drag a control to the table and
it will not allow me to drop the control into the table.
If i move the control into the table within the asp/html code and then view it in the design view my controls do not show up.
If i view the page in the actual browser it works fine.
How can i correct this?

You should be able to drag n drop controls within HTML table as well as see them in the design view.

As far as the server table control is concerned ,you can add controls to the table in the source view and surely see them in the design view,but just cant add controls to the table server control in the design view itself.

By the way,which server control are you trying to add to the table(Server Control)?

The above is in reference to Visual Studio 2005.

Trying to add a gridview and details view to the asp/server table. it wil lnot show up in design view.
