VS2005 to VS2008 guide12/5/2007 6:54:33 PM

Hi, I'm a newbie to VS2008 and have just got a copy of VS2008 Pro. I've been working with VS 2005 and .NET 2.0. The problem is I can't find decent instructions of how I can upgrade. I have XP and a decent PC spec, and was wondering if I need to uninstall VS2005 and .NET 2.0 before I can install 2008 and .NET 3.5? Or can they all co-exist.

Also should I install .NET 3.5 before VS2008?

I've also got a PC with Vista home premium and was wondering if its the same there.

2005 & 2008 will go-exist fine. Just note it will install sp1 for 2.0.

The 2008 install should do the 3.5 framework as well.
