Hi,

I installed VS 2005 on my local computer, but I have access to the remote web server, so the files are in the remote web server. But I can not get intellisense. Does anyone know why? and any solution would be appreciated.

Hi Mikhail, 

I have access to the web server. Meaning I can see the server's wwwroot directory from my computer. So I saved the files from Visual Studio to this drive. However I don't get intellisense. But When I save the files in my local wwwroot and open it from VS2005, I get intellisense.

 I hope this is more descriptive. Thank you.

You should be opening remote site via http:// then. Editing site from remote file share is not supported since network locationa re not considered trusted by .NET framework even on the same network. Opening Web sites as folders only works when folder is local.
