Visual Studio 2005 release problem

Hi, I just downloaded the VS 2005 release from MSDN and installed it.

I am struggling with a strange behaviour. Every time I am trying to do something with database connection (SQL connection), I get an error message showing up.

This is the error:
Following error occured while getting connection string information from configuration. "Cannot get web application service"

When I drop the connection, or open to change it (it is all in the VS.NET designer) or even when I click through the pages of the "Configure Data Source" dialog this message popping up. It is really annoying! Some this CAN be done after this message, some NOT. I cannot create a new connection whatsoever by clicking "<New Data Source>", but I can drop a table from the Server Explorer. However, as I said before, modifying the connection is also a problem.

I do have Web.config and I can see the changes there but I cannot move to VS.NET 2005 development. We use databases for everything an until this fixed, the development will take 10 times longer then in 2003.

I found the problem. VS.NET 2005 installed SQL Express 2005 as part of the installation. I already had MSDE 2000 installed. As soon as I stopped SQL 2005, the error message is gone!

However, the error message is really confusing...
