Multiple Browser Support

Hi Guys,

This is a common problem that developer facing. which is the browser does not fully support the website.

I have Developed an asp.net 2.0 website with ajax enabeld. it is working perfect on IE.

but in Firefox the website look very ugly and not working properly

i have read in asp.net 2.0 about files with extensions ".browser" is that related to the browser types. please somebody advice

It's not really a question of which browsers fully support your website, it's a question of which browsers you designed the site for. If you want your site to work across browsers, learn the html and css specifications and stick to them. Test your site as you build it in all browsers to avoid any horrors after you've finished it.

hi,

thanks for your reply.

i think with MS- VS2005, they are following the latest W3C standard, and i have designed the website in a way that i am using only asp.net controls. which will be at the end rendered to html in the browser.

but the website is only working perfect in IE

The issue may not be in which controls you use, but how do you position and style them. Seeing markup of your page would be useful.
