I am having a problem with installing SQL 2005

It is telling me that my processor is not compatible.

I am using a mercury mother board. I don't knw what to do.


Is there anyway i can use Visual C# with SQL 2000 and if not i hope the use of SQL 2000 with Visual Studio 2005 would corrected in the final release.

i actual error when installing is that when the installation is almost ending and it want to the start the SQL server it pops up a messagebox that it can start the server.

Pls help me out i don't know what to do.

Post the specs of your processor but I am assuming you are using AMD Opteron 64bits. Try the link below and download SQL Server 2005 64bit X86 in June CTP(community technology preview).  Hope this helps.

I think your problem is the memory I think it is too small but you could try by installing the SQL Server only and add other compoments later.  Hope this helps.
