OK, I'm going nuts here.  I've gone through this humungous solution and cleared up all the warnings, I deleted all references that no longer exist, I removed and re-added the web form I need the designer for... sheesh!  It runs fine, what the heck?!

Anyone have anything for me on this one?  It's a ASP 2.0, C#.Net solution with 36(!) projects.  We're using CSLA with custom extensions and custom composite controls.  As Doctor Evil once said, "Throw me a freakin' bone here!"

My guess is that the designer code has become corrupt in some way. If you know what form causes the problem, can you load the designer code in your editor and check if there's anything fishy?

Thanks.  Its the page in my content placeholder.  The master looks fine.  How do I regenerate the designer?  Maybe if I just delete it, it'll regenerate.  Sort of like a troll :)  I'll google that option.

This is driving me nuts!  Not only did that not work, now the complier doesn't recognize my custom controls are anymore.  I mean, maybe this is revealing a problem that was previously masked, but I don't need this on a Friday!!!   Oh well, at least I can rant and rave on the forum.  Are there any MSFT folks out there who know what's going on?

Hmm.  I undid my checkouts and got everything back from source control and now it looks fine.  Just missing a few images...  Strange.  Perhaps my emoticon scared my computer into behaving.  I guess I'll mark the angry smiley face as the answer...
