Flow Layout v Grid Layout in VS 2005

Hi There,

I am very new to ASP.net and was wondering if anyone can help me with VS2005.

In Visual Studio .NET the default layout for a Web Form was Grid Layou, now it appears to be in Flow Layout by default. Being relatively new to Web Dev I am finding this very hard to use.

Is there any way to change this setting to Grid Layout in VS2005?

Go to Tools | Options | HTML Designer | CSS Positioning and change dropdown to Absolute Positioning. This way every time you drop control it becomes absolutely positioned and you can move it around.

Remember though that pages with absolutely positioned elements work poorly in different browsers running at different screen resolutions. It is better to do table based or CSS based layout.
