DSOFramer to embed Word doc1/18/2007 3:48:39 PM

I've heard about this ActiveX control that I could use to embed a Word doc in my vb.net windows app but ... how do I use it?

Yes ... I went to http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;311765#top  ... but is there something I need to download and reference in my app?!

Please help!

This web site is for ASP.NET applications, not desktop apps.  For help on Windows Forms problems, check out the Windows Forms MSDN Forums.  I did a quick search and found several items related to your question.

 You mean Web Applications probably?

So ... it took 2:30-3 hours to approve my post and then for someone to tell me that nobody here will help me with it Huh? nice! Confused

There are samples in the download as well as code snippets in the link you have provided. You can add control to the toolbox after you install it. Right click on the toolbox, choose Select Items, click on COM tab, locate control and check it. You should then be able to drop in on the form.

And yes, there forums are about Web development. Visual Basic forums may be more useful if you want to ask Web Forms / client development questions. Here people simply may not have much experience with Windows Forms.

Thanks
