Connecting to a remote sql server 2005 in VS 2005??3/25/2006 12:40:58 PM

I'm trying to add a server so that I can use my web hosts sql server 2005 database but I can't seem to set it up.

At the moment I go to the servers panel and enter the address of my hosts sql server and my username and password and I get a "could not connect to SERVER NAME"

Just wondering if I'm going about connecting the wrong way, never had any probs connecting to a local sql server 2005 db.

This should work fine if you are running VS Standard or above.  Remote data is not supported in the express editions.
