Can't actually "delete" files from Source Control7/14/2005 5:54:17 PM

0/0

Hi there,

I have been looking all over and am unable to find anyone who may have
an answer to this. Hopefully you can point me in the right direction.
We recently set up Visual Studio 2005 .NET Beta 2.0 using Team
Foundation server on a multi-server install.  For the most part, doing
code and checking things in and out works well. However, I have deleted
an assembly or two for various reasons, and am unable to readd the item
because VSS states the item already exists in the Source Control
database.  If I go into the Source Control Explorer, the file exists,
but is greyed out (assume that means it's deleted).  This is fine, but
I want the file completely removed so I can readd it. Any suggestions
on what I can do to clean this up? I don't want to have to rename an
assembly because there is this annoying "can't delete" but within
Source Control.

I appreciate your time.
