Bug in VS2005 with CSS editing ?2/2/2006 8:37:39 AM

Hello,

We have an ugly bug here :
When editing and saving a css file for the second time, Visual Studio 2005 completely disappear !!
The css file is saved anyway, but Visual Studio must be restarted.
I would like to know if anyone has the same behavior and if there is an issue.

Here is the versions I use :

  • Framework .NET version 2.0.50727
  • Visual Studio 2005 version 8.0.50727.42 (RTM.050727-4200)

    Hi Laurent,

    Is this only happening with a particular CSS file or with all CSS files?  If its a specific file that is causing this issue, you can email it to me at omark-at-microsoft-dot-com, and I will have someone investigate.

    The benefit of submitting the issue through the online website is that you can track status on it and can see the resolution for the bug.  If you submit the bug via that site, please feel free to email me the bug ID and I'll follow up to make sure it gets priority.

    I believe we founf the issue (thatnks for crash dumps submitted by customers) and it is fixed for the service pack.
