Guys,

I am facing the following issue. I don't know if any one has found any solutions for the problem. It is not exactly the same.

I have a form view, and in my dropdownlist I bind a value that is not in the collection. I am databinding using an objectdatasource.

Microsoft has also recognized that as a bug.

Rebinding a DropDownList with a SelectedValue AFTER a PostBack (when the dataObject is empty) causes errors

It is already set to true, but being it is a simple drop down it is not appending.
