I think I allowed Visual Studio to create some code-behind base class files for some the ascx controls. Why should I not do this? Does anyone remember which ascx files should not have the code-behind files?
If I am not learning patterns and practices, I am not harnessing the power of .NET

If you are using the SDK version, none of the ascx/aspx files should have codebehinds. The VS.NET version uses codebehind files.
