Hello,

I just downloaded IBS Portal and store.

The store installs fine but every time I try to install the portal I get the following erros ( see below for log)

I've got admin access on the DB and since store installs fine I don't think that's it. Has anyone ever seen this??

I'm running Windows XP Pro, 256MB Ram, SP1

Thanks for the tip. I checked it out and my login mode is set to 1 and I still get the same error

install it manually. Use Query Analizer to run the sql script that is in the root of your portal directory.

Sometimes the simple solutions are so easily overlooked. :-)

I went in to follow your suggestion and it said I already had a database with that name. Now how could that be, it's not showing anywhere. So, I go to the directory and sure enough, and mdf and ldf file, bubye now..

Went back into QA and got the same error. This was very puzzling so I said to heck with it and jumped into Enterprise Manager and sure enough, Portal=suspect. I got rid of it there and tried to install the script manually.

WALLA, smooth as silk.

Thanks for the ideas. Now I can begin playing..
