How to get IBuySpy to work in the root directory of a Website

For a day now, i´m trying to put the IBuySpy Portal to run in a root directory of my website with no success, my main problem is :

When in the root place of the site like http://server/ the IbuySpy Portal doesn´t resolve
the request.aplicationpath so every link turns to http://something.aspx?ijij=djjsgd

but...

when installed like a virtual directory like http://server/portal/ the site works fine i´ve read
some post here but none of them targets this "bug" or the name you would like to call it.

I suppose you have found your answer to this post, but just in case you haven't, I had this same problem recently and I found the answer at www.aspsmith.com IBS Portal Bugs/Upgrades under:

Q: BUG FIX: When I deploy to a root web, how do I get my links to work correctly (Request.ApplicationPath doesn't work)

This fix was also recommended by others who responded to my post for help.

I tried it and it worked perfectly...although it does require some time to make all the modifications.

I have applied the fixes from earlier posts, but I am having one problem. The whole portal works properly, except when I try to log off, the relative link is wrong. I have implemented the application("AppPath") instances, but cannot find where I can change the Log Off link so that it points properly. Any help would be appreciated.
