I´m not getting through the database connection test. What shall I do?

I got past the database connection issue, with the help of another posting, now I am getting the following error message:

The Page ValidateRequest is exclusive to .NET Framework 1.1 and as you can see in the error, you are using v 1.0...

The easy solution is to install v1.1, but be careful not to uninstall v1.0 or you will have trouble.

The other solution is to comment out the instruction in the web.config file.
