Do you have a live site that I could view and see what your talking about?

This is not a FireFox problem but a problem with the fact that DIV's are being used to form the layout.  If you want a better cross browser solution create a two column table, I did this for my site when I noticed the problem and it fixed it.

I had noticed some interesting issues when I viewed my site in firefox. I did the simple cheat and put more content on my front page and then waited a month to see what browsers people were using to view my site.

The result of that is most people who visit my site are using IE6
