I am utilizing the TreeViewControl Adapter and receieve this error in Visual Studio 2005 when running in debug mode.  The site is running on a development web server and if I access it via its intranet address I get the actual Exception that is occuring.  Any thoughts as to what might be the cause?

That is a generic exception to any error that happen in object that another invokes. See the InnerException property of Exception to known the real error. Maybe would be a DataSource binded to control.

It is occuring in the DAL and that error will bubble up when accessing the page directly.  I only get the "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation." when running the web app in debug mode from Visual Studio.  Looking at the InnerException property I can see the actual error the one that bubbles up when accessing the page directly.  Why does VS2005 display the error in this manner?

I don?t known. But happens it when a object calls another and gets a exception from it.

thanks mgodoy_desenv. i encountered the same error, and found out that it was due to the datasource binded to control. thanks for the help :-)
