 Hi Everyone

Well I am using the CSS friendly adapters to make my navigation use li's, the menu link are store within a web.site, however how would I style a specific link as there no coding I can change, for example

 <div id="navigation">
      <asp:Menu ID="Menu1" runat="server" DataSourceID="SiteMapDataSource1">
    </asp:Menu>
             <asp:SiteMapDataSource ID="SiteMapDataSource1" runat="server" />
  </div>
  </div>

  Therefore how would I change, say the first link in my web.sitemap to a different color for example

Cheers

Hi Cheers:

You could style the specific links by using Theme.

Like Below:

<div id="navigation">
      <asp:Menu ID="Menu1" runat="server" DataSourceID="SiteMapDataSource1" skinid="SampleMenuVertical">
    </asp:Menu>
             <asp:SiteMapDataSource ID="SiteMapDataSource1" runat="server" />
  </div>
  </div>
Skin file:
<asp:Menu SkinID="SampleMenuVertical" runat="server"
    Height="20"
    BackColor="#FFF"
    ForeColor="black"
    Font-Size="small"
    Font-Names="Tahoma"
    DynamicHorizontalOffset="-3"
    DynamicVerticalOffset="3"
    StaticEnableDefaultPopOutImage="true"
    CssClass="Menu-Skin-Vertical">
    <StaticMenuItemStyle ForeColor="black" BorderStyle="solid" BorderWidth="1px" BorderColor="#648ABD" HorizontalPadding="2px" VerticalPadding="3px" Width="9em" CssClass="Menu-Skin-StaticItem" />
    <StaticHoverStyle BackColor="#FFF" ForeColor="White" />
    <DynamicMenuItemStyle ForeColor="black" BorderStyle="solid" BorderWidth="1px" Font-Size="8pt" BorderColor="#648ABD" HorizontalPadding="2px" VerticalPadding="3px" Width="10.5em" CssClass="Menu-Skin-StaticItem" />
    <DynamicHoverStyle BackColor="#FFF" ForeColor="White" CssClass="Menu-Skin-DynamicHover" />
</asp:Menu>

VB Example:

Protected Sub Menu1_MenuItemDataBound(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.Web.UI.WebControls.MenuEventArgs) Handles Menu1.MenuItemDataBound

If e.Item.NavigateUrl.ToString = "SomeUrlHere" Then

e.Item.Text = "<span class=""SomeCssClassNameHere"">" & e.Item.Text & "</span>"

End If

End Sub
