Hello,

I want to style the ordinary buttons (asp:Button) to create some nicer looking buttons than the ordinary ones. I want to do more than just set the background color of the button, what I would really like to do, is to load an image so that I have the buttons look exactly how I want them to look. Is there any way to do this, or do I have to fall back to imagebuttons/user controls and go through the current project replacing all ordinary buttons?

Here is a greate article on creating css buttons. http://www.456bereastreet.com/archive/200705/creating_bulletproof_graphic_link_buttons_with_css/ If you have to use the asp:button then you can use the same css attributes and use the CssClass attribute fo the asp.net button.

Simple is better. I disregarded the strenght of Css once more.

Can't follow the example you provided as they form their own css-buttons but I did try the background property where you can set the background images, that works and so you can style them nicely.

Know of any way how to make them work with more than one background image? The example you provided positions the image for the corners, since I can't figure out a way of doing that in Css for an asp:button as it's only one element, do you know?

well your limited with what you can do if your just trying to uses the asp:button however what you could do is if you know you want all your buttons to be like 75px wide just create an image that is that width and set the background of the image to transparent save it as gif or png and then set it to the background of the button. You could also use the examplei should you and make your server call using javascript to execute what ever you need to do server side.
