Hello there,

I'm developing a new web site and I realise that SkinId property is disabled.

I've theme configured in web.config and theme exists and even applied, if I type SkinId manually in markup, but in designer it is disabled.

Does anyone meet the same? What it can be?

When you view your webpage, does the control inherit the Skin? 

 On a side note, do you have a skin for it? I had this when I had a skin for an <asp:image> and a skin for <asp:button> but not for an <asp:imageButton>

 Well, the skin is inherited. Everything works fine, except the SkinId property is disabled.

What control is it for? I've just tested all of the ones we use and it's working for all of them.

Is it disabled for every type of control on your page, or just a specific one?

Hmm, I've only heard of the SkinID field being grayed-out when you've done something like SkinID='<%# Eval("NinjaSkin") %>' which doesn't work as DataBinding hapens after the PreRender.

If you set the Theme property the design mode will not represent the style. But if you set StyleThemeStyle property, you will see the style in design mode. Do you mean you can not see the style in browser either?
