Problem in Using image in a menu

Dear All

I am trying to design a master page having menu(horizontally) .I want use a image in place of text .but when i try to se image url th image is not show .

what to do?

Also i tried using image button in place of menu but their also no image shown instead of it ,it shows"Submit Query" when i view the page in browser.

please provide me the solution for both.

Hi Mukesh,

If you want to use an image inplace of the text , you could use the StaticItemTemplate of the menu control, put the image control into the StaticItemTemplate.

for example:

    <StaticItemTemplate>  
                       <asp:Image ID="Image1" runat="server" ImageUrl="~/image/button-search.gif" />
                          
                        </StaticItemTemplate>
