I'm confused ... I am a newbie with VB 2005 so I guess that's not surprising. I have created a master page and have place a 3 x 3 table on it and have moved the Content Placeholder [CPH] control into the second cell in the second row. Then I expanded heights and widths of the cells to what I want but the Content Placeholder control is positioned in the middle of the its cell (vertically) ... it's width is as wide as I made that cell. My problem is that there is considerable space in the cell containing the CPH above and below the CPH ... and I cannot resize it. When I put, say, a label in the top of the CPH and then do a Ctrl-F5 to see my page the label is displayed way below the text I have in the middle of the first row of the master page ... and I want the label to be right below the text in middle of the first row of the master page. Now, in addition to mot being able to position the CPH vertically it has a ribbon across the top of it that is unusable as far as my putting text or control in there.
In short, my question is how can I position the CPH in a cell in a table on the master page so that it butts up to cell above it? I suspect I am missing some simple (probably even obvious) point here.
Thanks for whatever help is forthcoming.
