Pass in value to Master pages from ASPX pages?8/22/2006 3:07:58 PM

Hello,

 

Is it possible to pass in values to a Master page for processing?

What I am trying to do is build a menu control in my Master page based on information in my web page that could change the rendering of my menu control.

I would like to pass in something like a boolean value and some text.

Is this possible?

A MasterPage renders like a UserControl (loads/renders before rest of page); hence, any values passed must come from the QueryString, otherwise the values wont be 'recognized' until an additional PostBack is made.
