I have modal popup Extender ajax control on my master page and this modal extender lets users login to the website and I have validators which check for if user has filled username and password or not.

Now I have some other pages which inherit this master page and when they do data validation and try to do some work modal popul stops that from happening. As I have custom validators for that modal extender setup to check for username and password (for some reason in the back that gets triggered) and that page don't do anything thinking user has not filled all fields.

 What is the workaround to this problem ?

Hi!

 You could disable the Valdiators after a successfull login.

The validators are available on Ajax Modal Popup and its on master page, user can do somethings without loggin in ...How can I say where to disable and when not to. Secondly is there any way to only enable when the Popup is done.

Hi,

Base on your description, do you want to prevent the user do anything without login in,  and the Modal Popup Extender ?

You can adjust whether the use login in in the page load event, if login in, you can use the Modal Popup Extender's show method to show the Modal Popup Extender in the page load event, or else not.
