Hi,

I have been working on a way to get Adobe Contribute to work with masterpages.
I am nearly there with getting it working but i need to stop the master/content page from outputting its page title.

Can this be done programatically from the masterpage?

At the moment when viewing the page the Contribute added page title is shown, which is great.
But if you look at the page source you find there is a second blank title which causes the page to fail validation.

 Any ideas?

Thanks for the link. I had already spotted that but unfortunatly it doesnt do what i need to do.

I need to stop the master page outputting any title tags at all.

To get Contribute to work with masterpage i need to put a <title>Page title</title> in a content place holder on the content page that contribute will edit.
If i dont put this in then contribute puts the <title></title> in where it thinks is best which usually brakes the page.

The problem i have now though is that when the page is rendered the masterpage puts a <title></title> in the page head as well as the content placeholder putting in a <title></title>.
So i end up with two pairs ot title tags.

I need to find a way of stopping or removing one set of these title tags.

Any ideas?
