DNN Installation Hangs10/10/2005 3:31:21 PM

I am a confessed novice.  I heard about this GREAT tool from a friend, downloaded it, and have tried, unsuccessfully, to install it no less than 10 times.  I tried using MSDE as the SQL engine, I tried using SQL 200 Personal Edition, and DNN 3.0.1 all with the same conclusion.  The installation appears to start just fine, then about an hour into the install process I get the standard web site not found, check your address or call your administrator and the inetinfo.exe is using 100% of the CPU time with not hard drive activity.  I have left it this way for over 36 hours and it never finishes.  If you know what I need to do, please help me...

36-hours... 36-seconds is all you should need so something is not right there. Can you give some more details of your setup (OS etc) and post the install message here?
