Hi,
I know how to make my website send an SMS text message to a user's cell phone. I'm wondering, however, is there a way to allow a user to interact with a website via an SMS text message or email?
This is what I'm really asking. If my web application sends an email to a user programmatically, and a user responds to this email (sending an email to the website email address), is there a way my website can somehow process this email response (for example copy the text from it and save it in a database)?
Thanks very much if anyone has any insight into this. Happy holidays to all.

My company has a service for doing this. Basically it consists of the following:
- You acquire a "keyword" on our system such as "DNN"
- You can then create any number of "verbs" which are basically actionable keywords.
- When an SMS is received, the service executes the request and returns the data provided by the action (if desired) to the mobile.
An example would be to get a piece of information from a module, say "number of orders". Your SMS might then be something like this: DNN Orders
The service will launch the URL you specified for Orders (most probably this is a webservice) and return whatever data is provided in the response.
Let me know if you are interested and I can provide details support at speerio dot net.

Could you please re-send your requirements. I just switched to the Thunderbird mail client and I think I had the spam filters set to be too aggressive.
Thanks.
