Hello there,

1. Data: WinXP SP2, MSSQL 2000, IIS 5.1, .NET Framework 1.1, DNN: 3.1.1 installed and running locally.
2. Questions: How (and where) do I have to organize things so that I can separately and independently work on 3 web portal projects, when they don't share the same database?
3. Reason for asking: there would be three totally different content websites (sports, city presentation, database search and input); there would be created, tested, and played around with locally, then uploaded and hosted on same/different servers. I don't want to create a mess...

 Thanks for your patience and understanding. It's always hard waking up in a different world, but sometimes it can be exciting too.

just install it in different directory and if u have just 1 database, u can use the same database name with diferrent qualifier name

Yes, if you plan on moving them it would help if you give each one a distict qualifier right from the beginning.

Other than that, DNN template system will let you extract and import a site, all but user names so it could be an option for using the same data.
